New Hampshire Hospitality Month is back. April 1-30, 2022 will provide students of all ages the opportunity to tour local New Hampshire properties. The hospitality industry is a broad category of fields within the service industry that includes hotels and resorts, event planning, theme parks, marketing and sales, revenue management and pricing, and additional fields within the tourism industry. In 2019, 500 students went on 78 tours at 54 locations ranging from entertainment/ attraction venues, lodging properties, restaurants, and food distributors such as Fisher Cat Stadium, Mill Falls at the Lake, Gunstock Mountain Resort, Surf Restaurant, and High Liner Foods.

Planning is currently underway for 2022. Our industry members will again offer tours, some will offer hands-on experiences, and the hope is to create activities which parents and/ or guardians can attend with their student so they too can hear about the career pathways available in the hospitality industry. Locations are being confirmed daily and if there is a specific place you have in mind, let us know!

This registration is intended to gather interest to match up schools or other groups with local properties. Requests are not guaranteed, but every attempt will be made to accommodate. Each school may preregister for a group of 25 students. Please note some tours are better suited for smaller size groups. Once registrations are received, the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association will schedule the industry tour(s) and provide an email introduction to the main contact at the property being toured.

If your school needs transportation assistance, please be sure to check that box during registration process and send an invoice to the NHLRA following your tour. This is open to the first ten schools. Reimbursement is not guaranteed.
